HSBC: Hong Kong Rugby Sevens


Hong Kong goes mad during The Rugby Sevens. Saatchis commissioned me to shoot a 60 second film, that mirrored the concept of the global TV campaign, a ball travelling across the world to get to the game, but specifically for Hong Kong.

The crowded streets of Hong Kong are probably not the easiest place in the world to kick a rugby ball around, but for three days that's what we did, with a run and gun crew and a wide brief from the agency that allowed us to be flexible and to work quickly.

The film was shown in every break between the games.
